Pash Daswani

Pash Daswani is an esteemed member of the St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands community, where he has made a lasting impact for over 40 years. Originally from Pune, India, Pash embarked on a journey to the United States in 1982, honing his skills as a designer and tailor of custom-made suits and clothing for discerning high-end clients. His journey led him to St. Thomas, where he met his wife, Kavita, and they married in 1991. Pash takes pride in being a self-taught professional in the retail tourism industry.
In 1992, Pash realized his entrepreneurial dreams by establishing Lucky Jewelers on Main Street, a venture that thrived and propelled him to open a second location, Artistic Jewelers, in 2003. His expertise and success in the jewelry business were recognized, leading to the expansion of his business by moving Lucky Jewelers to the first block of Main Street. Pash continues to be an active and an accomplished member of the St. Thomas business and retail community. His passion for wine is so strong, he attended the US Sommelier Association Inc, wine school and earned a Level one and Level 2 degree.
Beyond his professional achievements, Pash is a devoted family-oriented person with a deep commitment to assisting others. His own experiences as a father to his son, Dhiraj, who was diagnosed with cerebral palsy at the age of 6 months, have fostered his unwavering dedication to supporting children in need. Pash and his family spent considerable time in Dallas, Oklahoma City (where they owned and operated a c-store business), and Los Angeles to access specialized treatment centers for Dhiraj. Ultimately, their love for their home in the Virgin Islands drew them back. Pash’s personal journey has fueled his passion for helping other families facing similar challenges. Pash’s charitable efforts encompass a wide range of causes, from steadfast support of St. Jude’s Hospital to active involvement in the local community through the India Association of the Virgin Islands. For almost 30 years, Pash has served in various roles within the association, including director, secretary, long-term vice president, and currently as President. His leadership has been instrumental in spearheading critical fundraising projects for organizations such as the Kimmelman Cancer Center and the Miracles Babies Support Foundation. Additionally, Pash has co-championed the development of a nursing scholarship program to empower local students attending the University of the Virgin Islands.
Furthermore, Pash actively contributes to the betterment of St. Thomas by serving as a Board member of WICO, the Chamber of Commerce, and the Masonic Lodge. He lends his support to organizations such as the St. Thomas Humane Society, VI Cancer Center, My Brothers Workshop, and St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital, among others. Pash Daswani’s unwavering dedication to his community, his entrepreneurial accomplishments, and his commitment to philanthropy make him an exceptional individual who continues to make a positive difference in the lives of others.
